The project deals with all the architectural scales, from the urban planning of a masterplan to the structural details of a selected building. The main focus was on the energy efficiency, considering materials, finishes and the volume composition.
Using Best Energy (an extension for Sketch-up provided by Politecnico in Milan) the team estimated the energy consumption of the building, giving the possibility to propose a photovoltaic system which could supply at least the 50% of it.
